Following a string of singles, Gadigal-based three-piece YEEVS have just released their first new album in five years, ‘The Borderline, Thereabouts’. Their most layered, melodic and multifaceted release yet was mixed by Tim Kevin (The Apartments, Restless Leg). ‘The Borderline, Thereabouts’ is about boundaries both physical, mental and emotional, and the resilience that is needed in navigating each fork in the road. YEEVS will be taking the record on the road for a run of shows in November. Joining them for their show at Dissent Cafe and Bar will be local favourites The Burley Griffin and Strawberry Prince. For over 10 years now, YEEVS have been quietly playing the long game of being in a rock band, being friends and being able to sustain a musical partnership that has only grown deeper with time.
