💫On 19th May, Braw Gigs presents... Yeah You + Off Brand💫
✨Yeah You is the Welsh father/daughter duo Elvin Brandhi and Gustav Thomas. Their spontaneous sonic outpouring spews unfiltered into jagged pop requiems made from a variety of tools in endlessly shifting contexts.
✨Against contemporary cult of logic, Yeah You propose a Fluke Folk, improvised tradition that transcends the allocated contexts for the absurd. They have released on Alter, Slip Imprint and Opal Tapes among other labels. They have performed at international festivals including Sonic Acts, Borealis, Counterflows and Supernormal.
✨Support will come from Edinburgh’s very own Off Brand – who incorporate found objects, spoken word and absurdist sound art in a truly entertaining fashion, featuring Ali Robertson and Firas Khnaisser.
