About this Event
This annual gathering is an opportunity to strengthen connections, share experiences, and stay engaged in the conservation community.
Join us for this FREE event hosted at , located within the Grand River Watershed and enjoy lunch while reconnecting with fellow conservation professionals.Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the impactful work taking place on-site.
This event is open to both alumni and non-alumni members of the Young Conservation Professionals (YCP) network. Those interested in learning more about the program and connecting with the YCP community are encouraged to attend.

Participants will:
- Learn about rare and its conservation initiatives
- Gain an overview of rare’s turtle incubation project and build turtle protectors
- Enjoy a guided hike through the Grand River Watershed
- Tour the on-site food bank garden
What to bring:
- This is a fully outdoor program—please dress for the weather.
- Comfortable hiking shoes
- Refillable water bottle and snacks
- A notebook for journaling
