The Yuma Coalition to End Homelessness (YCEH) will host its 3rd Annual Community Resource Fair on April 8, 2026, aimed at connecting individuals experiencing homelessness, low-income community members, and residents seeking information about available local services. This event will provide access to a wide range of critical resources to address urgent community needs, including:
Behavioral health services
Housing resources
Medical care
Educational opportunities, including information on homeownership
The Resource Fair will place a particular focus on individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness, offering essential items such as hygiene products, socks, and food. Additionally, trained staff will be on-site to conduct Coordinated Entry Assessments, which are required to place individuals on the community housing list maintained by YCEH. This process facilitates referrals to appropriate housing programs based on eligibility and availability.
Building on the success of the past two years, which served over 190 attendees, the Coalition aims to increase participation and expand the range of services offered in 2026. Key partners—including local healthcare providers, social service agencies, and housing organizations—will collaborate to provide comprehensive, coordinated support to those most in need.
By hosting this annual Resource Fair, the Yuma Coalition to End Homelessness reaffirms its commitment to reducing barriers to essential services, strengthening community partnerships, and promoting long-term stability for vulnerable residents throughout Yuma County.
