Sayaw ng Kamatayan(Dance of Death) or Yaw-Yan is a Filipino kickboxing system developed in the 1970s by Sir Napoleon “Nap” Fernandez. Battle tested at kickboxing fights local and all over Southeast Asia. Guro Jordan Labuyo is one of the premier Yaw-Yan fighter/ instructors in the United States and the Philippines, having trained directly under GM Nap Fernandez at his gym Yaw-Yan Ardigma in Makati, Manila, Philippines. Winning numerous kickboxing matches in the Philippines and the United States, he currently shares the art at the Rancho Cordova Martial Arts Center in Sacramento, California where he’s the lead kickboxing instructor.
He will be taking over my kickboxing class at Glendale Community College from 12:00 to 4:00pm on Saturday November 15, 2025. If you are interested in this event, send me a DM for registration information. Space is limited so contact me ASAP.
