‘Yatra’ is a Sanskrit term used to describe a journey to sacred places. What we have for you is a true psychedelic 4 day summer festival experience, drenched in vivid colours and high-octane resonance which will send you on journeys within journeys, leaving you with a revitalised reverence for yourself and the world around you.

Unleash your inner art prodigy and leave your mark on our collaborative art mural. Here you will find a mesmerising wonderland of radiant visual art - coupled with the natural landscape to make a stellar companion for the live electronic music.

And that music, ladies, gentleman, and friends beyond, will be an utterly astonishing blend of the most engaging psychedelic electronic music from an awe-inspiring selection of DJs and artists. Yatra is proud to host FOUR music stage productions, each with their own dedicated genre; PSYTRANCE, HI-TECH, TECHNO and CHILL music. This range of eclectic and soul-stirring music performances will leave all electronic music fans filled to the brim with enjoyment. International and local acts alike will grace our stages and plunge the dancefloors into new realms.

This coming year's event will have a key focus on wellness and holistic practices, so for all you yogi's, meditators, breathwork evangelists, sound journey gurus and other spirited souls, expect nothing but high vibrations and source energy in which to immerse yourselves to your hearts content.

We believe in performance art being a key aspect of creating an unforgettable festival experience. This includes regular fire shows, opening ceremony, Closing Ceremony, as well as roaming performers to fill our experience with colour and flow. At Yatra Festival, you will find some of the country’s most dedicated performers spinning, dancing, flowing and contorting in ways that will make your head spin!

Like we said, much to learn and experience at Yatra ‘23; for understanding yourself, discovering the music and sharing with the community, the metaphor is the same: It starts off as a wee flower bud then slowly opens petal by petal until you have a blossoming kaleidoscope. By the end of each night you have a whole garden paradise of unforgettable energy and deep powerful magic.
