Join Yarrow Collective for our first ever Winter Ball fundraiser. Come see drag performers, speeches, poetry, and help celebrate Yarrow’s work!As Yarrow Collective’s first ever fundraising event, we are super excited to celebrate peer support with drag, poetry, mocktails and more! It’ll be a space to gather friends, partners, and community members who believe in peer support and and the importance of lived experience in our mental/behavioral health field, particularly for folks of marginalized communities, which is the majority of our program participants.
Yarrow Collective is is a by/for/with lived experience organization that offers peer support for folks struggling with mental health and/or substance misuse. We host an average of 40 free drop-in peer support groups a month that support folks with their recovery, healing from suicidal thoughts, and more. We also offer free 1:1 peer support to the community. This fundraiser will help us continue to offer all these vital services for free!
Doors open at 5:30pm. Come mingle, grab a mocktail, get some small bites from the local Love Shack Sober Bar.
6pm - 8pm: Program begins! Hear speeches from Yarrow Collective staff and community members, including a going away speech from Yarrow's founding Director, Silen. Enjoy drag performances from Krisa Gonna, Juicy Misdemeanor, and Ezra Terrestrial.
Dress code: come as you are, or come for winter chic!
