Violinist Charles Yang is a GRAMMY and Leonard Bernstein Award winner, a composer, arranger and one of the most distinctive crossover performers out there, whose appearances are eagerly awaited in the most prestigious concert venues – from Carnegie Hall to the Konzerthaus Berlin. Pianist Peter Dugan is an "impressive soloist" (The Washington Post), host of the NPR programme From the Top and a highly sought-after stage partner among outstanding figures in music, including Itzhak Perlman and Renée Fleming.
Both are assuredly forging their own paths in music. Yet together, they are an unforgettable musical adventure.
“At our concerts, classical music is not left to gather dust in a museum. Wrapped up in blues and soul, it sounds as if it were written today. I am still amazed at how organically Czardas sounds alongside Ariana Grande. When stepping onto the stage with Peter, I never know exactly what’s going to happen. And that’s the best part of the performance. We always have an idea of what we’ll play. But we leave space for that moment – for what will unfold between ourselves and the public”, says Yang.
