This critically acclaimed documentary dives into the smooth, groove-driven sound of late ’70s and early ’80s yacht rock—featuring legendary artists like Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Christopher Cross, and Toto. Through rare archival footage and in-depth interviews, the film explores the rise, fall, and unexpected resurgence of one of music’s most iconic and misunderstood genres.
Following the screening, director Garret Price will be in attendance for a live Q&A, offering behind-the-scenes insight and answering audience questions about the film and the yacht rock movement.
