About this Event

Welcome to the 8th XR Creators Connect meetup, at which we bring together the XR community in The Netherlands!

There is no escaping it: generative AI, large language models, AI-assisted coding, 3d art generation, etc are changing what it means to build digital products, also in our world of XR. In this edition of XRCC NL we've asked a few people who are at the forefront of this change to tell us all about it: what works, what doesn't, what it changes and which new possibilities it enables. We think it'll be a very interesting edition!

This edition will be on Thursday March 19th, 2026 at B'GAME Incubator in Breda, which is a roughly 13-minute walk from Breda trainstation.

We'll have presentations by:

Stijn Spanhove is one of those name most of us will have seen at some point or another, as he has a knack for going building interesting things that go viral, win hackathons and contest, and are just downright cool to look at. His creations often contain an AI-element, for instance to transform his environment in AR. Check out his work at https://www.linkedin.com/in/stijn-spanhove/details/featured/. We're honored he's coming over from Gent to join us in-person.
Philipp Sieben runs the YouTube channel PixelArtistry (https://www.youtube.com/@PixelArtistry_/videos), where he tracks the cutting edge of 3D creation with AI tooling and his weekly PixelArtistry newsletter (https://pixel-artistry.com/) about the same topic. There are few people more up to date on the state of the art of AI-powered 3D art creation, with a realistic view of both the strengths and limitations. Already curious?
