Annual Xmas Day merry run/jog and chat. Going since 2017 (with a small covid hiatus).Runners, joggers, walkers, kids, dogs, all welcome. The weather isn't always the best but we try to enjoy it regardless. If you need an excuse to get out on Xmas morning, followed by the chance to share some Xmas spirit over coffee then all are welcome to join us.
Traditionally we've run a 5k (easy, walker friendly) route and a 10k (more advanced, only recommended for those who are already seasoned runners). However, unless we get a demand it might just be the 5k route this year.
No official route markings, no tickets, no regulations, no guaranteed treats (although we'll see if Mrs Claus fancies doing some baking), just bring your Xmas best (hats and dodgy sweaters encouraged) and help spread some cheer along the Stanley Park seawall and Lost Lagoon.
