The Purple Jacket Installation Ceremony is one of Xi Kappa Kappa’s most distinguished traditions—an evening dedicated to honoring the Fall 2025 Line as they take their next step into the rich legacy of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Held at the historic Ice House in Jackson, this ceremony blends elegance, tradition, and Brotherhood into a powerful rite of passage.
Attendees can expect a formal and inspiring program featuring the ceremonial entrance of the new Brothers, the reading of the history and symbolism of the Purple Jacket, leadership remarks from chapter and district officials, and the official induction of the Fall 2025 Line. The highlight of the evening is the moment each Brother receives his Purple Jacket and recites the Purple Jacket Oath, publicly affirming his commitment to Omega’s principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.
In addition to the ceremony, guests will enjoy a beautifully catered dining experience, an opportunity to meet and fellowship with Brothers, family members, and community partners, and the chance to witness the beginning of a new chapter in Xi Kappa Kappa’s ongoing legacy of excellence.
