XGYM Barbell Debut: Novice Olympic Lifting Meet

Step onto the platform for your first Olympic lifting comp!

The XGYM Barbell Debut: Novice Olympic Lifting Meet is designed for beginner lifters looking to experience competition in a fun, supportive setting.

Each athlete will have 3 attempts at the snatch and 3 attempts at the clean & jerk, judged under IWF lifting rules.

Date: Sunday, 12th of April 2026

Time: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Location: XGYM Castle Hill, 5/9 Salisbury Road (opposite Bunnings)

Entry fee: $70

▪️ Snatch + Clean & Jerk | 3 attempts each lift

▪️ Weigh-in from 8 am | Lift-off from 10 am

▪️ No approved equipment required

▪️ This comp is limited to 24 lifters
