XFADE Anniversary Concert 2026

Students at Sedeghill Academy have been writing, singing, rapping and producing their own music with Musician In Residence, Andy Gilbert, since 2005.

Over the years, XFADE students have achieved well over 200,000 plays and views collectively, and have performed at many concerts showcasing their own music ins school and at many of the UK’s iconic venues . We’re incredibly proud of what the students have created—and of the impact the project has had on their musical and personal development as their confidence and skills have grown.

Former XFADE students have gone on to be Grammy-nominated songwriters, working with artists such as Doja Cat, John Legend and Aespa, while others now perform at the highest level with artists including Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, Dave and Raye.

Please come along and help us celebrate 20 years of outstanding songs and talent from Sedgehill. Many former students will be returning for the show, and we hope you’ll join us to support them alongside our present talented students.
