The Carleton University Debating Society is pleased to host our annual in person Xerxes Cup this year.
Date: February 20-21st, 2026
Location: In-Person Carleton University Campus (Southam Hall)
Registration Fee: 100$
Registration Deadline: Monday, February 9th 2026 11:59pm (After which we will be imposing a late registration fee of $20)
Format:
Debates will be held in British Parliamentary (BP) format.
This tournament is only for high schoolers grades 9-12, with Junior status being Grades 9-10.
Registration/Deadlines:
The cap for this tournament is 80 teams (160 participants).
