Une installation vivante qui traite de la liberté et de nos mythes collectifs, créée par les artistes interdisciplinaires Xavier Goulet et Benjamin Therrien, portée par leur amour du Québec. En s’inspirant du courant Ti-pop et de l’état d’esprit patenteux, Xavier Goulet et Benjamin Therrien revisitent notre héritage collectif afin de mieux s’en affranchir.Avec ce spectacle-exposition, les deux artistes ont voulu, d’abord et avant tout, réaliser un manifeste sur leur vision de l’art et sur la place de la création dans leurs vies. Ils rêvaient d’une œuvre interdisciplinaire propulsée par la liberté et l’amitié.
Une fois le spectacle terminé, Tsishow prend la forme d’une exposition. Le public est invité à découvrir et à habiter le décor en toute convivialité.
En marge des représentations, une projection de deux films de Fernand Bélanger sera organisée à la Cinémathèque québécoise le 21 avril : Ti-coeur et Ty-Peupe, deux projets marquants à l’origine de la recherche.

A living installation that explores freedom and our collective myths, created by the interdisciplinary artists Xavier Goulet and Benjamin Therrien, driven by their love for Quebec. Drawing inspiration from the Ti-pop movement and the patenteux (DIY/tinkerer) mindset, Xavier Goulet and Benjamin Therrien revisit our shared heritage to challenge and move beyond it.
With this performance-exhibition, the two artists wanted, first and foremost, to create a manifesto about their vision of art and the place of creation in their lives. They dreamed of an interdisciplinary work driven by freedom and friendship.
Once the show is over, Tsishow takes the form of an exhibition. The public is invited to discover and inhabit the set in a friendly, convivial atmosphere.
To complement the performances, a screening of two films by Fernand Bélanger will be organized at the Cinémathèque québécoise on April 21: Ti-coeur and Ty-Peupe, two milestone projects at the root of their research.
