💫Nau mai, haere mai e te whànau!💫Join us for a 3-day wānanga in the beautiful surroundings of Hawea, where we will immerse ourselves in our powerful Indigenous practice of Romiromi.
Romiromi, ro (internal) mi (to stimulate). Haa ki roto, haa ki waho - let that move through you.
Romiromi is an ancient healing art of our people, it offers a deep connection to self, IOtanga (source), to our tìpuna wisdom - to our connect with all things.
We wànanga noho in Hawea. A place of wànanga for the ancient ones. Allowing this to guide us and further open us as we deepen our Romiromi experience and practice.
What to Bring:
Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoors
Cushion/outside blanket - comfortable things to sit on in circle wànanga
Togs and towel for our pure
Kai to share over noho
Personal journal for reflections
Water bottle
Linen/wai tai/toka/table - whatever you need for our practical practice of Romiromi - if unsure, pàtai mai
An open heart and empty mind
Accommodation: We will be staying in Denver Cove - The Camp, Lake Hawea.
Please arrive onsite with plenty of time to orientate yourself before our 5pm tìmatanga.

Registration: Invite only. Please RSVP with accommodation request and $123 deposit by by October 14th 2024. Note there are only 5 glamping tents available.
