The City of Wyoming invites families to celebrate the magic of the season at Wyoming Winter Wonderland, a free community event filled with holiday cheer on Friday, December 5, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Godwin Mercado (301 36th St. SW).The festive evening on Friday, December 5 will feature performances from the Wyoming Honors Choir and Wyoming Jazz Band, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a holiday train, and an artisan market, perfect for finding one-of-a-kind holiday gifts. Runyon House Roasts will be providing free hot cocoa and coffee to attendees and PAC Pizzeria Food Truck will be on site with food items to sell.
As part of the spirit of giving, attendees are encouraged to bring new, warm clothing to donate to area school children in need. Hats, gloves, coats, and scarves are especially appreciated.
