Changeling Gaming Event Type: General event, recommended 19+

Get ready to test your knowledge and show off your smarts with a night of FREE TO PLAY trivia! Located at St Clair and Bathurst in Midtown Toronto, Wychwood Pub is the perfect spot to gather with friends and put your trivia skills to the test. So round up your team and get ready for a night of laughs and friendly competition.

Trivia Details:

• Arrive, settle in, and put in your first order by 6:50 PM.
• First question drops at 7:00PM!
• There will be 3 rounds of questions, with 12 questions each; General, Themed, and Music. With a new theme each night, look ahead to the Changeling Gaming Instagram for hints in our stories.

Save the dates: Tickets will go live approximately 2 weeks before each trivia date. Follow Changeling Gaming on Eventbrite to be notified when registration opens.

How Tickets Work:

1. Gather your friends and form a team of 2-4, or join one of our community tables to make new friends as you play. If you'd like to play with a larger team, 1 point per additional player over 4 will be deducted from your score per round.
2. While the event is free, please sign up ahead of time and reserve a table for your team! This helps the venue staff best accommodate everyone coming to trivia. By reserving a ticket, you do not need to make an additional reservation at Wychwood Pub. Once tickets are sold out, please join the waitlist to be the first to know if someone releases their spot at the last minute.
3. Tables are held for the first 20 minutes (from 6:30 to 6:50pm) before they are given to any folks on the waitlist or walkups. This is a limited ticketed event so please cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend to allow others to join the fun. If you would like to arrive before 6:30 PM, please call the venue to ensure a table is available early.
4. There is a minimum spend of one non-alcoholic beverage or appetizer, and we strongly encourage purchasing more as able to support the venue so we can keep returning for more game nights. The recommended minimum is $25 per person (~ one drink and one food item)

What kinds of questions to expect: At a Changeling Trivia, expect some classic pub questions, mixed with brainy, geek-themed topics that blend pop culture, tech, and gaming into a fun, nostalgic nod to the rest of the Changeling Gaming activities we do. But don't worry, you do not have to be a geek to game with us, there will be plenty of other questions for all areas of interest. We also add fun facts into our questions, and bonus content into the answers. So our hope is that for the questions you didn't know, with our fun facts added in, you will take away even more trivia knowledge with you!

2) What is the popular name for earthquake severity measurements? Two words.

3) In what year did Italy last host the Olympics?

4) Name the Canadian band that sings, "If I Had $1,000,000"

Food & Drink: The Wychwood Pub has a food menu full of delicious options and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. Thursday's burgers are also on special for $11! A great pairing with a beverage.

Prizes: There will be raffle prizes for anyone to potentially win, and all teams always have the glory of topping the Changeling Gaming leaderboard. And for the winning team,

• Ticket passes per player to future Changeling Gaming events.
• $30 giftcard to Wychwood Pub for the table for a round of drinks to kick off your next night of trivia or a future evening at the bar.
