EVENT DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY:
We will meet at GoodBean Coffee in Downtown Jacksonville (165 South Oregon St. Jacksonville, OR 97530) for coffee/tea/treats at 9:30am and then whoever wants to join the short hike to Panorama Point from the Chinese Diggings/Rich Gulch trail can carpool and/or follow my car at about 10am to get closer to the trailhead. This hike is a section of the Beebe Woods Loop at Jacksonville Woodlands. It is roughly 2.2 miles, out-and-back with about 500 ft. of elevation gain.
LIABILITY WAIVER: Friendly reminder that it is required to sign the e-
waiver before attending your first Women Who Explore event. Please
sign on an annual basis.

TRAILHEAD DIRECTIONS: This trail is a section of the Beebe Woods Loop at Jacksonville Woodlands, it starts in a residential neighborhood in between 980 and 1000 Hill St. Jacksonville, OR 97530. The parking is a couple of blocks away near the residential neighborhoods off of Applegate St.

• Dress appropriately/bring layers
•Rain coat/top layer/sun hat/sunglasses/warm gloves/hat
• Shoes with good traction (that can get dirty)
• A light backpack to put layers in as you shed them
• Handwarmers; toe warmers (optional) Sunscreen/bug spray
• Headlamp or flashlight, camera/extra charing unit
** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified.
This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a
top priority; please plan accordingly.**

100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot
and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on
Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to
the day of the event as this allows other women who would like to
attend the ability to plan to join us.
