About this Event
The trees are blooming and beautiful, and this weather is so nice so we thought: why not a picnic?? Check the details below:
MEETING TIME: We'll be there from 4-6pm, come and mingle!
HOW TO FIND US: We will try to be directly south of the stairs, on the grass, look for a blue Women Who Explore flag :)
PARKING OPTIONS: Free Visitor Lots on the eastern side of the Capitol building, as well as in designated visitor lots. Street Parking often available on Capitol Boulevard (to the east) and on side streets.
WHAT TO BRING: Water, sunscreen, hat if you want extra sun protection, light jacket in case it's windy, a towel or light blanket to sit down on, your delish picnic choice, a friend and your smiles :)
LIABILITY WAIVER: Friendly reminder that Women Who Explore events are 18+ and it is required to sign the e-waiver before attending your first event. Please sign on an annual basis. Link HERE! Waivers are good for 1 year.
** PLEASE NOTE: Even though some ambassadors are wilderness first aid certified, this is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.**
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 2 days prior to the day of the event as this allows other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
