WWC Day – Ready, Check, Go! Information session

Join us for a free in-person information session to learn about the Working with Children (WWC) Check, organisational obligations, and responsibilities under the WWC Act and how to go about managing WWC Checks in an organisation.

The session is aimed at new organisations or people who are new to their role.

The session will run for two and a half (2.5) hours and will cover:

· the role of the WWC Screening Unit

· the WWC Check and the wider child safety framework

· who needs a WWC Check

· how to apply for a WWC Check

· organisational obligations

· record keeping and governance considerations and

· available tools and resources

Please note this is an in-person workshop hosted at our Boorloo campus at 130 Stirling Street, there will be no Microsoft Teams link available for those unable to attend in person.
