Join your fellow Low Country Mountaineers on Saturday, April 25th for the annual WVU Alumni Association’s Day of Service! This year we will be assembling On-The-Go Meal Kits for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House and others in need throughout our community. WVU fans, alumni, and friends of all ages are invited to attend! This event is family-friendly, so bring the kids and the pups!Saturday, April 25, 2026

Event Details:
We will be assembling 100 meal kits filled with items such as a drink, popcorn, sides, napkins, and small games or activities. We are encouraged to decorate the bags with stickers and add fun activities to brighten a family’s day—kids are especially encouraged to help decorate!
We are seeking volunteers to sign up on the registration site to bring specific items to Charleston Sports Pub on April 25th at 10:00am. Please use the sign-up link below and do not substitute items so we can keep everything organized. If you are unable to bring an item, you can still show up and help us assemble the bags! All help is appreciated! Once all items are collected, we will begin assembling the bags together. When finished, our Community Service Chair will personally deliver the completed kits to the Ronald McDonald House.

Why This Matters:
Families traveling back and forth between hospitals and clinics often don’t have the time, funds, or energy to prepare quick meals. Our On-The-Go Meal Kit Program helps meet those families’ nutritional needs and extends support beyond those staying at RMHC Charleston.

Please do not bring items that require refrigeration, freezing, or a can opener.
For safety reasons, no products containing nuts, peanuts, or peanut butter.
