Black alumni and friends are coming back to Morgantown for a weekend that brings the best parts of WVU back together. 🏔️

Good music. Old friends. New connections. The kind of energy that only happens when Mountaineers reunite.

This weekend is about reconnecting, celebrating the legacy we built, supporting alumni owned businesses, and enjoying time together back where so many memories began.

Info: We will begin reunion weekend by honoring the life and legacy of Coach Garrett Ford Sr., a trailblazer whose leadership and impact helped shape generations of Mountaineers.

Coach Ford was more than a coach. He was a mentor, a pioneer, and a powerful presence in the WVU community. Alumni, friends, and the Mountaineer family are invited to gather as we reflect, remember, and celebrate the legacy he leaves behind.

Info: Kick off the reunion weekend by reconnecting with Black alumni and friends from across generations. The Welcome Home Mixer sets the tone with music, good conversation, and a relaxed space to catch up with classmates and meet new Mountaineers.

The evening also features the Black Alumni Marketplace, highlighting alumni owned businesses, brands, and creative ventures.
