I am a figure of significance in this field. The opportunities bestowed upon me by divine providence within this industry are extraordinary. At the tender age of 13, fleeing from an abusive guardian, I found myself navigating the streets. Remarkably, within five days, I was entrenched in the world of Disco, alongside the City Boys, Full Impact DJs, and Heavy Sound Productions. These individuals, integral to the flourishing hip-hop scene in Central Florida, were my early mentors during my time as DJ Puerto Rico. My days were consumed amidst the DJ crates and dance floors of various clubs, dedicating my life to music, tirelessly striving for that breakthrough.Fast forward 25 years, and the catalogue of accomplishments speaks volumes. I’ve had the privilege to open for the now globally acclaimed DJs Nasty and Prostyle. Additionally, I became a part of The Max-a-Million All Stars, collaborating with luminaries such as Sunny Chulo, Johnny Bravo, Southstar, D’ville, and Chi CHI YeYo at the time. Our reign over Orlando, Florida was unparalleled, a saga that will soon be immortalized in an upcoming documentary. Collaborations with the esteemed WARHEADS further cemented my journey. Subsequently, I’ve shared stages with a myriad of artists, ranging from Mobb Deep to Ludacris, Fat Joe to Lil Wayne, and a multitude of others. The list continues, as I’ve performed alongside these icons, etching unforgettable moments into my journey.Continuing on my odyssey, fate intertwined with 12 O’clock, the younger sibling of the legendary Old Dirty Bastard and Prodigal Sunn, during their Florida project, “2 on The Road.” This connection led to an honorary membership with the Brooklyn ZU and Suns of Man. My presence on the Brooklyn ZU album, “The Return Of The Prodigal Sun,” specifically on “My Life (CHAMBER #9 Verse 32),” was a defining moment. Under the guidance of Prodigal, the spectrum of experiences expanded, from touring with Wu-Tang Clan to engaging in cerebral battles with luminaries such as Canibus, GZA, and Killa Priest.The journey didn’t halt there. I found myself appearing in the DGK movie opposite Beanie Sigal, courtesy of the support and belief from the legendary Steven Cales and Stevie Williams, individuals who champion the underdog, much like myself. Learning the ropes in this industry is no facile feat; it’s a continuous learning curve fraught with risks that could potentially imperil one’s life or career. Yet, learning from these luminaries has instilled in me a profound understanding of what it takes to command a stage. I approach my live shows with utmost seriousness, infusing captivating energy within those fleeting moments to enthrall audiences.Performing alongside Wu-Tang Clan members or owning the stage during solo trips—these experiences are invaluable and indescribable. A sojourn in Hollywood led me to feature in movies currently streaming on Prime and Tubi, including “Stay Off The App” with Richard Greico and “Hub City” with the presence of the revered Nipsey Hussle, moments that brought immense satisfaction.Presently, my musical endeavors are showcased on various streaming platforms under the moniker Chi King. Born in Brooklyn, raised amidst the trials of street life, I embody the essence of HIP HOP—a culture that continues to thrive and resonate within me. My recent focus includes releasing timeless tracks, and my engagement with NEW VIBE Televsion—dedicated to movies, videos, music, and podcasts—is a testament to my commitment to the craft.I am not a mere tale of hardship; I am the embodiment of resilience, having weathered abandonment, poverty, and abuse. My narrative is not one of despair; it’s a melody sung with perseverance. This is not your run-of-the-mill Electronic Press Kit (EPK). I am an artist far from conventional—a luminary in my own right.
