Join Stonewall Sports Fargo for a Women, Trans, and Non-Binary (WTNB) Happy Hour at Camp Lonetree! About WTNB Programming:
Following in the footsteps of many other Stonewall Sports chapters, WTNB programming centers the identities of those in the broader LGBTQ+ community who are not often in the majority. Affinity spaces like this one do not exclude the participation of those outside of the WTNB umbrella, but instead centers the experiences of those it is intended for. For many Women, Trans, and Gender Non-Conforming Folks, sports leagues can easily become overwhelmingly male dominated which may have a variety of effects on people's comfort levels, enjoyment, team camaraderie, etc. While for some folk even publicly identifying as Non-Binary or Gender Non-Conforming can be scary, we simply ask that those who attend respect that this is a space made for folks who do not identify as cis-gender men.
