WSHFC Sponsored First-Time Homebuyer & Down Payment Assistance Class

Free WSHFC-certified class for first-time buyers who may be ready to enter the real estate market within the next two years. Learn how to buy a home and explore down payment assistance options.

Buying your first home can feel overwhelming, especially with so much information out there. This free, in-person class will walk you through the homebuying process step by step, including loan options and how down payment assistance works.

Hosted by Aislinn "Ace" Becktold (Keller Williams Realty Spokane) and Carter Lile (Sunflower Bank), this WSHFC-endorsed class meets the education requirement for elligibility and access to all Washington State Housing Finance Commission programs, and you will receive a certificate of participation at the conclusion of the event that will be valid until March 22, 2028.

The goal of the class is to provide helpful, clear guidance so you can understand your options and take the next steps with intentional confidence and a wealth of print and digital resources to set you up for successful homeownership.
