About this Event
Create your own magical underwater creature and dream up new worlds beneath the waves. Together, author Becca Rogers will guide you through a fun, exciting and interactive writing workshop inspired by her brilliant debut novel, The Girl with Gills, which is longlisted for the 2026 Branford Boase award. Bring your imagination and let's dive in!.
Suitable for young writers aged 8 + years
Paper and pencils will be provided but children are encouraged to bring their own writing pads and pencils/pens.
The Child Book & Ticket bundle includes a copy of The Girl with Gills (RRP £7.99), available for collection at the event.
Please especially note that ticket holders 16 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult but parents/guardians accompanying their children to this workshop do not require a ticket (one accompanying adult per child with ticket.)
