Writing Salon: A 6-Week Creative Writing Workshop in Kirkcaldy

If you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to write — this is it.

Inspired by the legendary literary salons of the 1920s, the Writing Salon is a welcoming yet structured space where ideas flourish and projects move forward.

Hosted by Fife-based author Lisa May Young, this six-week creative writing workshop offers dedicated writing time, creative prompts, gentle guidance, and a supportive community atmosphere. Whether you’re starting something new or developing an existing project, you’ll leave each session with real words on the page.

Only 10 places available to ensure individual attention.

No experience necessary. Just bring a notebook and an open mind.
