Topics covered in this course
Understanding Proposals
At the conclusion of this workshop participants will understand proposal writing. We will explore the steps involved in writing proposals from strategies to types of proposals.
Creating an Outline
In this session participants learn how to compose an outline of a proposal. The structure will be explained. What to include in special sections. Besides that, also topics such as: creating framework plans; pay attention to the details all leading to success.
Gathering Information
You will learn research techniques for using relevant resources, and how to use web based information during this session. Participants of session will also be given tips on organisation of gathered material for the outcomes.
Enhancing Writing Skills
This hands-on, practical workshop helps you to become a wordsmith and a sentencesmith, or as we say at Zombie Originals: a writer.
Students will learn how to be better writers through exercises that will teach them how to create a body paragraph establishing transitions and then writing a final section that wraps up the writing into an insightful conclusion.
Proofreading and Editing
For an editing session with a difference, participants will learn not only how to evaluate their own work but also how an objective peer can provide feedback, as well as how professionals proofread for maximum impact when writing for many different kinds of outputs.
Wrapping up the workshop
At the end of the course, learners will be asked to share their findings and create a plan on how to implement what they’ve learned. As an additional option, two expert facilitators will be available for participants to ask questions about the course and to continue the conversation around these topics.
