βSome day, Iβll write my story.β
If youβve carried that sentence quietly for years, this day is designed for you.
The Princeton Memoir Salon is a one-day literary gathering for adults 55+ who wish to approach personal writing with seriousness, structure, and care.
This is not a prompt-driven workshop.
It is not a confessional space.
It is not about rushing toward a finished manuscript.
It is about understanding what has been quietly blocking your writing β and learning how to move forward thoughtfully and sustainably.
What Makes This Different
Many people delay writing not because they lack stories, but because they care:
- About family relationships
- About privacy
- About doing justice to complexity
- About writing well
This salon reframes courage not as force, but as continuance within supportive structure.
During the Day, You Will:
β’ Explore what has been preventing you from beginning
β’ Learn how memoir can be written without telling everything
β’ Work in small, manageable writing segments
β’ Experience structured guidance and pacing
β’ Leave with at least 500 words of original writing
Sharing your work aloud is always optional.
The Setting
Hosted at the historic Peacock Inn in Princeton, New Jersey, the salon offers an intimate and refined environment conducive to thoughtful work.
Enrollment is intentionally limited to preserve depth and attention.
