This month we will feature Claudia Faith and her new work Chappy. Chappy is a spiritual adventure of self-discovery as a young man evolves from cowboy, drifter, poet, preacher to finally become director of a cooperative in northern Minnesota. His mission is to promote a work (the cooperative) by humankind done for each other, to create an environment focused not only on equality in healthcare, housing, education and employment, but on human and gender rights. In a spiritual momentum our young man confesses to a friend, "My only oath to a supreme being, if there is one, is I will not let anyone's pain go unattended."
Chappy reaches out to all of us envisioning a better world.
Writer's Salon is a monthly gathering of writers and people who love the written word. Bring your own work to share, or the work of your favorite authors. There will be time for open mic and mingling. All genres welcome.
