Write Miami
Join us for a writing meet-up at Panther Coffee! Our free weekly drop-in group offers a friendly and supportive environment to work on your writing projects and connect with other writers. If you write, you are a writer. No experience necessary!
This week, we'll workshop a writing sample from one of our members, and then launch into an hour of focused writing.
How it started
Write Miami was created in March 2024, after two friends were searching for a dedicated time and place to work on their passion projects (short stories, poetry, etc). Two more friends offered up their living room on Sundays, more friends joined in, and then more friends & colleagues & acquaintences, establishing a recurring, thriving writing club. The rest is still unwritten...
How it works
We select a new location each week; stay posted to Evenbrite for updates
- We arrive, chat, settle in
- Open with a short reading & discussion of a published work or something presented by one of our writers
- Launch into an hour of individual writing
- That's it!
