About this Event

Strengthen your writing practice and build community at Write Now! SF Bay's Third Saturday Writing Workshop for writers and artists of color. We’ll meet on the third Saturday of every month (beginning Sat, Feb. 15, 10am-noon) to workshop prose, poetry, visual art or other works for warm, supportive feedback by fellow creatives.

This long-running workshop has served 300+ writers of color and produced five anthlgies since 2015. The workshop draws a wonderful and unpredictable mix of prose writers, poets and other artists at every level, genre, and background—from beginning writers to published prizewinners—with roots in the Bay Area and Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and beyond.

Time is divided equally among those who want to share. Register for 15+ minutes each to read aloud (up to 1500 words) and receive supportive feedback. If you're not ready to share, come listen and build community with a diverse group of writers.
