NEW VENUE!Our May meeting of Write Here Launceston will be at a new venue.
We will meet at Door of Hope in the coffee shop dining area.
This venue will enable members of Write Here Launceston to meet for a whole group catchup and discussion, before breaking off into smaller groups for networking or some writing time.
We’ve had a lot of discussion with members about the venue at QVMAG Inveresk, which has been comfortable and central, but is very small and has not allowed for members to break off into smaller groups as was the usual routine for WHL in the past.
Door of Hope offers free parking and wifi. There is also accessible parking at the back of the building, which enters into the area where we will be meeting.
Unfortunately, the Selah Café at Door of Hope is not open on Saturdays. Members will need to bring their own morning tea. However, there is a public kitchen where you can make a cup of tea or coffee, although we cannot guarantee what supplies will be available on the day.
We look forward to welcoming new and old members on Saturday. Bring along any news you might have to share, including your own writing projects, what’s going on in the writing world, and any other related news or ideas or questions you might have.
