About this Event
What if you could make space in your schedule for a dedicated creative practice? What if that space was in a charming independent bookstore, in the supportive company of other writers among walls and walls of books? Sound interesting? Then read on, writer! Because community, connection, motivation and inspiration - that’s what Write Club is all about.
On Sunday nights there will be guided discussion and writing exercises. We’ll talk about establishing and honoring your creative practice. We’ll tackle writing sprints and respond to prompts, followed by some silent writing time in the bookstore. At the end of each Sunday session we’ll wrap up by checking in with the group and setting intentions for the week to come.
On Wednesday nights the bookstore is open late only for Write Club members. Come enjoy a silent space to work on your project or simply to journal. It’s free time for you to share space with writers for accountability and community.
Then save the date for Write Club Open Mic, our end of session celebration where group members are welcome to share their works-in-progress with a supportive audience of friends and family at the bookstore.
This is a practice-based, generative course. All levels are welcome.
