This is an annual event in association with the Thomas Hardy Society's celebration of the birth of Thomas Hardy. The wreath laying begins at 1pm at the Thomas Hardy Statue in Dorchester led by THS members and the Dorchester Town Council before processing to the Barnes statue at St. Peter's Church where members of the William Barnes Society will also lay a wreath and read Barnes poems.For further information please contact via www.williambarnessociety.org.uk
