Wray Christmas lights switch on will be on Sunday 7th December 2025 with the Institute and Scarecrow Committees once again supporting the village to put on our fantastic christmassy celebrations!⭐?✨️?✨️Start off your festive celebrations at Wray️ Christmas Lights switch on!?✨️?✨?✨️From 10:30am Wray Village Institute will be serving bacon butties, delicious filter coffee, fanantastic cakes and freshly made sausage rolls! ?
?✨️Collect a Christmas treasure trail from Wray Village Store and enjoy a magical stroll around the village! ✨️
?✨️ 11am - Fun Wrayndeer Dash registration open at the institute - festive warm up and Wrayndeer Dash starts at midday!
?✨️Christmas stalls in the institute 11am - 3:30pm ?
?✨️Brass band?
?✨️The much loved Christingle service will take place at 2:30pm @ Holy Trinity Church ??✨️4pm - carols by the Christmas tree (led by Wray Methodist Chapel)?
?✨️ Lantern procession leavee Bridge House Tearooms and Greenfoot Garden Centre?
?✨️ There may even be a visit from the big man himself courtesy of Vale O' Lune Young Farmers Club! ?
?✨️ Pizza Van ?
?✨️ Mince pies and muller wine from The George & Dragon and Bridge House Tearooms? ✨️✨️?Wray is also home to the George and Dragon pub? Greenfoot Garden Centre ,✨️Bridge House Farm Tearooms ? and the fabulous Wray Village Store✨️ along with lovely village walks. Come and join us for a magical Christmas village day! ?⭐??❄️???
