What do we think of when a customer asks about BORDEAUX? First thought is 6,000 Vineyards some as small as 10-20 acres!, 2nd - up to 11,000 Wineries & Chateaux, and then there are the 60 different Appellations! The upside is wineries in Bordeaux have making great wine for centuries, and they are mad keen on maintaining their reputation by limiting the varietals and winemaking styles!
Daniel Miller became one of only 900 Advanced Sommeliers in 2015, as a result of the encyclopedic wine knowledge required to pass, fewer than 25% candidates pass the final exam. So, when we want to drill down into Beautiful Bordeaux, and taste to learn, we reach out to Daniel!
We will be serving six delicious wines along with charcuterie and light snack as we refresh our mental map of Bordeaux and the many amazingly distinct villages involved.
