Women of Winchester May Luncheon
Tuesday, May 12 | 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM The George Washington Hotel | Winchester, VA
Join us for an inspiring afternoon of connection, encouragement, and community at the May Women of Winchester luncheon.
WOW brings together women from across our region each month to build meaningful relationships, support local nonprofits, grow professionally, and leave feeling encouraged and empowered. Whether you're a business owner, nonprofit leader, professional, or simply looking for community, there’s a seat for you at the table.
Featured Speaker:
- Releasing the Creativity Within
Hella Rader is the woman behind Embody & Create, a one-on-one mentoring practice that gives women the tools to reveal, reclaim, and release the creativity within—whether or not she considers herself an artist.
As a writer and podcaster, Hella publishes The Stories That Sparkle on Substack (about her experience with starting over in life, work, and love) and releases new episodes of the Stories That Sparkle Podcast (to amplify other women's stories about building community, inhabiting their bodies, and more). Over her career, Hella ran an art gallery, did master planning for museums, co-hosted “The Hella Fabulous Show” on East Village Radio in New York City, managed supply chain operations for a manufacturing company, and was the tour manager for the indie band My Brightest Diamond. In September 2025, Hella drove almost 5,000 miles across 15 state lines and recorded 18 different women's stories in person and in their homes. In other notable news, Hella once learned to drive a Porsche race car on an actual racetrack, surfed off the coast of Mexico, and shaped a raw emerald in the Diamond District of New York. So yeah, she will try almost anything at least once. Except olives. Or mushrooms—of any kind.
