Join us this International Women's Day to celebrate 15 years of WOW - Women of the World. Filled with music, joy and thought-provoking conversation, the evening will be a powerful tribute to the incredible achievements of women, girls and non-binary people across the globe.
WOW Founder Jude Kelly will be joined by an extraordinary line-up of speakers including Annie Lennox, Sandi Toksvig, Anoushka Shankar, Errollyn Wallen CBE, Jordan Stephens and Liz Carr. Annie Lennox will share her vision for the future and insights from founding the global feminist charity, The Circle.
Legendary activist Angela Davis will headline the evening; from being on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list to becoming one of the most sought-after speakers in the world, she will explore love in activism, hope and healing, her passion for the blues, and her dreams for the future.
The night will also feature breathtaking live music. Including a performance by eleven-time GRAMMY-nominated composer, activist, and sitarist Anoushka Shankar and two world-premieres by celebrated composers Errollyn Wallen and Isobel Waller-Bridge, featuring organists Anna Lapwood and Rachel Mahon, and 150 strong intergenerational choir.
