Worthing T10 Cricket Tournament Returns for Season 2 This July
Worthing is set to welcome an exciting day of fast‑paced sporting action as the Worthing T10 Cricket Tournament – Season 2 arrives on Sunday 5 July 2026 at Hill Barn Recreation Ground. Presented by the Worthing Warriors Cricket Club, this year’s edition introduces an Open Postcode Tournament, inviting teams from across Sussex to compete in the high‑energy T10 format that has gained rapid popularity among cricket fans. Building on the strong community response to last year’s inaugural tournament, organisers say the 2026 event will be “bigger, better, and even more competitive”, with teams expected from across Worthing, Brighton, Littlehampton, Crawley, Horsham and surrounding areas.
The tournament will feature a series of short, action‑packed matches throughout the day, culminating in a grand final. A prize pool of £1001 and a trophy awaits the champions, while the runners‑up will receive £701 and a trophy. Individual honours will also be awarded, including Best Batsman, Best Bowler, and Best Player of the Tournament.
Team registration has been set at £200, and organisers encourage early sign‑ups due to limited availability.
Speaking on behalf of the organising team, the Worthing Warriors Cricket Club said the event aims to celebrate “sport, teamwork, and community spirit”, bringing together players, families and supporters for a full day of entertainment at one of Worthing’s well‑known sporting venues.
The event is open to spectators, and families are encouraged to attend and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
