Join paper engineer Shobhna Patel to celebrate Charles Frederick Worth’s 200th birthday! Create a 3D papercraft gown originally designed and produced by Charles Frederick Worth, in this fun, hands on workshop, suitable for children and their grown-ups to enjoy together.Children will learn how to confidently develop their creative expression, how to work with different types of paper and card, and also learn key paper techniques used to create a paper sculpture. Shobhna will share her knowledge and key techniques of this artform.
Children will be provided with templates to carefully cut around, safely using scissors. All other materials and equipment will be provided too.
By the end of the workshop children will be able to take home a unique and free-standing 3D paper sculpture. Perfect to keep or gift!
This workshop is led by experienced paper artist Shobhna Patel. Shobhna has specialised in all things paper since 2009. She creates unique artwork using contemporary paper-engineering methods and teaches workshops for all ages.
