Robin will be at Dragon Bite Books & Crafts on Saturday, September 20 for Worldwide Spin in Public Day. She'll be on the porch spinning prepared wool into yarn, armed with nothing but a drop spindle and knowledge. Robin's a great teacher and knows a lot about the art and history of spinning. If you'd like to give it a try, we'll have kits available for sale inside ($20 each, includes a handmade drop spindle with a Sculpey clay whorl and 2 oz of pre-prepared, undyed, Finnsheep wool) and Robin will gladly help you get started!
