Did someone say "World Record"? The measurements are done and we are confident that we can put Townsville on the map for the World's Shortest Saint Patrick's Day Parade. On the 17th March, we are stepping over the start line at Molly Malones Irish Pub to set the record . We are raising funds for Variety - the Children's Charity of Queensland in cooperation with North Queensland Irish Association, @Townsville Wolfhounds G.A.C , Friends of Guinness , Gael Force masters soccer club and The Brogues Irish band. We have invited some special friends and when we have confirmation they will be joining us, we will add them to the parade schedule. David Cullen representing the Brogues and Gael Force joined Jacob James from Molly Malone's and myself for the pre measure tonight. Our 2026 Bash efforts are under way.
