A new six-week program for our youngest artists will feature a mix of independent and collaborative projects inspired by WonderRoom, our fall exhibition combining clay works with natural wonders and fascinating objects that celebrate the wonder of collections. Learn fundamental art skills using an exciting variety of media while building comfort and confidence in hands-on art making and drawing on imagination to discover wild new possibilities.
About the Instructor: Becky Katz is a Hamilton-based multi-disciplinary artist, graphic designer, experimental music-maker, art educator, community arts practitioner, and grassroots community-organizer. She is heavily involved in dozens of creative projects, community-based programming, and social justice initiatives throughout the City of Hamilton--most of which have a particular focus on collaboration, and shine a spotlight on the peculiarities of Human Nature.
