World Singing Day is a global sing-along held annually on the 3rd Saturday in October. It is is not religious or political, and encourages people to put aside their differences and celebrate what we all share as human beings.This year’s World Singing Day (WSD) will highlight the importance of mental health as people around the world enjoy and connect by singing together in their communities on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Our WSD Song-of-the-Year is “We Are The World/Imagine.”
Come join us, with Holy Heart of Mary Alumnae Choir, and the Mi'kmaq Women's Drum Group, at 2pm at the Salvation Army Citadel on Adams Avenue, to Sing Together, Unite the World.
Admission is free but a non-perishable food item or a monetary donation for the Food Bank would be gratefully accepted.
