The Buddha is renowned as the supremely compassionate one and taught the Dharma to alleviate suffering. We may have some understanding of how to apply his teaching in our personal life, but what does it mean in relation to problems like war, climate change, and racial violence? How can it help us to think creatively about such problems and find ways to respond that will have a real impact? On this weekend non residential retreat we'll explore these questions through talks, Dharma study, discussion, meditation and ritual.
Sessions:
Friday - 7pm to 9pm
Saturday - 9am to 1pm
Sunaday - 9am to 1pm
