Join us at The Silver Screen Cinema for a curated screening followed by a live conversation with coach Tim Denyer and swimmer Mark Sowerby.In August 2015, after fourteen hours in the English Channel, Mark Sowerby completed the swim and returned to the Folkestone area. He was, by all accounts, a man at his absolute limit, physically broken and barely able to process the scale of what he had just achieved.
This Q&A is an invitation to hear from Tim and Mark in the very town where their partnership was first tested. We will move past the statistics of the swim to discuss the internal shift that occurs when you are forced to surrender control to a team in order to survive.
