About this Event
Every year, the world celebrates World Pangolin Day to raise awareness about the wonders and plight of pangolins in Asia and Africa. This year, we celebrate by walking!
Singapore's forests are filled with life. Join us for a casual morning walk at Rifle Range Nature Park to learn about our forest wildlife, such as the critically-endangered Sunda pangolins, and their natural habitats in Singapore. Find out how Singapore is protecting pangolins and how you can contribute too!
Families with young children are welcome. This is a sunny-day activity. The walk will be cancelled if there is heavy rain 1-hour before the start of the walk.
Registrations for this walk will close by 20 February 2026, 12:00 PM.

About the Singapore Pangolin Working Group
The SPWG is a multi-stakeholder group consisting of government agencies, non-governmental organisations, educational institutions, and individuals. Since its formation in 2014, pangolin conservation and research projects across Singapore have been coordinated through SPWG and its stakeholders.
The aim of the group is to improve collaboration among stakeholders to increase awareness and drive the conservation and protection of the critically-endangered Sunda pangolin (Manis javanica) in Singapore through efforts such as conservation and research projects, education and community outreach, and pangolin rescue and release. The working group also facilitates both in-situ and ex-situ research, as well as community outreach and education on pangolin issues.
